Manish Arora is regarded by many as "the John Galliano of India". He graduated from the Institute of Fashion Technology in New Dehli and started his own label in 1997. He is known for his rich palette of psychedelic colours and kitch motifs. He combines traditional Indian crafts such as embroidery, applique or beading with western avant garde silhouettes.
