Louise Amstrup

Danish born Louise Amstrup spent part of her childhood living in Germany and later returned to

Duesseldorf to complete her studies. In 2003 she graduated from Akadamie Modedesign, where she
was awarded the “Graduate Talent” prize. She now lives in London.

to take on a new challenge. She successfully launched her self- titled debut collection “Louise
Amstrup” in 2006.
Louise Amstrup creates a powerful, feminine collection with a soul to suit the female shape. Her
culturally mixed background is reflected in her designs: strict and constructed elements meets soft
and surreal which creates a unique and eclectic aesthetic.

Louise Amstrup has consciously placed herself at the higher end of the market and realize that the
survival of her business is based on thinking exclusive and worldwide, never forgetting her Danish roots.
Louise Amstrups work was rewarded this year by receiving the Nordic Design Award “Ginen” and she
was nominated for “new Design Talent” by DANSK awards in May 2009

Michelle Lowe-Holder

Graduate of St Martins in 1999, with a focus on knitwear she presented her collection at Browns, London. Later on several of her catwalk shows were sponsored by BFC until she collaborated with Topshop on four collections.

In 2009 Michelle got invited to join the LCF Center of sustainable fashion program called "Ribbon Reclaim". With this her collection's focus shifted yet the handcraft detail (vintage and heritage) became the design or piece itself. Collections onwards from AW 10 she has been developing or exploring ribbon art, antique folding techniques, interlaced with crochet and hand cut bases. Accessories include bangles, necklaces, rings.

Currently she is invited to the MLH studio to up-cycle Oxfam's throw-aways in an open gallery. The 6 pieces designed and constructed on the site are to be auctioned in the near future, with all proceeds going to Oxfam.
